Job Description
The Relationship Manager (RM) is responsible for:
Sourcing Energy Efficiency Financing (EEF) opportunities through ESCOs, integrators, EPCs, sponsors, and other end-user facing entities that are engaged in providing energy efficiency solutions. Examples are: Lighting upgrades
HVAC upgrades
Other energy conservation measurements
Solar PV
Small CHP
Microgrids
Fuel Cells
Battery Storage
Other clean tech (e.g. water purification)
Developing and managing vendor programs for the above; providing repeat programmatic business
Supporting Huntington's bank customers for EEF needs as referred by HNB bankers
Responsibilities
Lead the sourcing and developing of new vendor transaction opportunities
Lead the sourcing and developing of new ESCO/sponsor relationships
Assist HNB relationship managers on EEF opportunities with existing and prospective bank clients
Lead pre-commitment transaction diligence and assist in underwriting as needed
Create competitive and profitable financing proposals
Represent and be accountable for transactions in HNB
Interact with internal counsel and independent engineer as needed
Lead transaction closing process in coordination with HNB sales support
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
5 years' experience in Energy Efficiency Financing
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong commercial and pricing skills
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, proficient in Microsoft Excel
Ability to travel as needed
In-depth knowledge of and experience with EEF
