Senior Accountant
My fast growing client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their corporate accounting department and work closely with the Senior leadership team.
Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly financial statements and other financial reports.
Involvement with general ledger accounting, fixed assets, reconciliations, prepare journal entries and more.
Assist in initiatives to improve and create new process where applicable
Month End, Quarter End, Year End Closing Responsibilities
Perform and provide support on special projects and related duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with a major in accounting or finance
Familiarity with U.S Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Proficiency with computer applications, such as Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
A self-starter with strong motivation, initiative, and ability to work independently or collaboratively to meet deadlines
