Job Overview
: The Financial Reporting Manager will be responsible for leading the financial reporting team in a large privately held fast growing company. The role will oversee the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, prepare financial analyses and serve as a point person between accounting and other departments.
Responsibilities:
Overseeing and managing the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
Providing guidance on revenue recognition, lease accounting and other technical accounting issues
Developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures
Preparing financial analyses, including variance analysis against budget and prior years
Managing the accounting close process, ensuring a timely and accurate close
Analyzing financial data and preparing reports for senior management
Serving as a point person for internal and external auditors
Ensuring compliance with GAAP and IFRS, and other regulatory standards
Draft and oversee technical white papers
