Mortgage Loan Officer
Mortgage Loan Officer Requirements:
Thorough understanding of loan underwriting, compliance, procedures, and current consumer/mortgage lending laws and regulations.
Proficient communication - in person, over the phone, and via email
Proficient math and computer skills
Ability to multi-task, problem-solve and strong attention to detail
Minimum of three (3) years of mortgage or lending experience.
Mortgage Loan Officer Responsibilities
Assists in providing quality loans for the financial institution by underwriting and evaluating residential mortgage applications originated by financial institution personnel, which includes loans originated through our Third-Party Origination agreement.
Recommends approval of customer applications for residential loans or extensions of real estate loan lines of credit.
Assists in maintaining, monitoring and managing the pipeline.
Assists with overseeing the preparation of accurate loan packages and ensuring on-time delivery to investors.
Assists with setting rates in conjunction with management's guidance.
