Duties
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare daily, weekly, monthly
and annual financial and operational reports
Analyze trends in growth metrics,
profitability measures, business development effectiveness, and return
on investment
Assist with case planning by
conducting budget forecasting for litigation costs in regards to labor,
operations and bill rates
Analyze performance of individual
matters and portfolios of business against established budgets, revenue
and realization
Perform monthly and ad hoc analysis
Assist with developing pricing
models and project management tools
Utilize SQL to access Elite
database; run, save and write queries and save output
Write SQL general statements
against Elite database to retrieve data from setup and master files, detail
transaction tables and summary files
Manipulate data with Advanced
SQL i.e. Limiting Data; Inserting Aliases for Column Names; Combining Limits;
Organizing Data ; Querying on Multiple Tables and Totaling and Sub-Totaling
Requirements
1-3 years of accounting, financial
reporting, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and modeling experience
Strong understanding of accounting
structure, general ledgers, and financial reporting
Highly-driven and self-motivated
with a high level of abstract reasoning
Bachelor's degree in Accounting,
Finance, or MIS
Experience working with interfacing
systems
Excellent technical skills including
data mining and manipulation
Strong presentation skills and
experience explaining financial data and analysis to groups
Experience with Elite Enterprise
and expert-level Excel skills
Demonstrated SQL Server, Microsoft
Access and report writing software experience
