As a project manager/delivery lead within the Commercial Underwriting and Portfolio Management (UW&PM) Strategic Delivery team, you will drive a variety of high-priority projects that support the organization's strategic goals. You will take on important and exciting responsibilities from day one, working with key stakeholders across the Commercial bank. You will also be an active contributor in the Chief of Staff's office that supports the executive leadership team in UW&PM. You are a service-oriented individual with strong critical thinking and organizational abilities, who is adaptable and energized by new experiences. You will work with smart and passionate people to deliver results that have a direct impact on the company's bottom line. The ideal candidate:
Is comfortable working on technical and non-technical projects
Is intellectually curious and interested in solving complex problems
Displays a passion for leading project teams to their highest potential
Has experience or an interest in working with business leaders and senior stakeholders
Exercises good judgment and discretion when working with sensitive material or subject matter
Has experience and/or context in Commercial lending and/or underwriting
General Responsibilities
Lead moderate to large projects, provide strategic direction to projects and peers
Demonstrate excellent project management skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and quickly put structure in place to drive/manage work
Design, develop, and manage project plans in a complex dynamic environment, revise needs to meet changing requirements
Ensure projects are documented appropriately to mitigate risk and deliver on time
Assess internal and external factors that can affect project outcomes, leverage problem solving and influencing skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent
Build relationships and partner cross-functionally to ensure delivery of commitments, provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive project delivery
Actively pursue/develop solutions that anticipate customer/partner needs and expectations, partner with internal customers to understand and address process and associate impacts
Communicate with and manage stakeholders at all levels, flex style as needed to inform and influence outcomes
Use data/evidence-driven approach to determine project success criteria and measure impact
Provide operational support to the UW&PM organization as an extension of the Chief of Staff's office
Work with team members and peers on initiatives that drive engagement, enablement, and learning opportunities for the team
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or Military experience
At least 5 - 7 Years of Project Management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters / MBA degree
At least 8 years of Project Management experience
3 - 5 years experience in Commercial lending and/or underwriting
PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification
