Portfolio Accounting Analyst

Profile

Owning and executing specific reporting deliverables, including:
External investor reporting on portfolio returns, investment performance, exposure and holdings
Regulatory reporting
Audited financial statements and schedules
Execute ad hoc data analysis and reporting, often in parallel with other deliverables, to support the Investor Services, Legal, Transaction Structuring, and Corporate Communications teams
Assisting with the audit process and preparation of annual GAAP financial statements
Acting as a liaison to the other operational teams
Performing other special projects as requested
Qualifications
Undergraduate or graduate degree, preferably in accounting, finance, or mathematics with at least five years of relevant experience
Strong data management and business intelligence skills, including Microsoft Excel pivot tables, charts, and advanced formulas
Ability to take high-level direction, work independently, and assume full accountability for work product and/or projects, including defining problem statements and identifying next steps and making recommendations
Desire to work in the details while also understanding a macro perspective
Ability to multitask and prioritize work assignments effectively
Commitment to excellence and pride in work product
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and documentation skills
