About The Job
**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. is currently recruiting for a Loan Center Administrator in the Loan Administration Department.
If you are the chosen candidate, you will be responsible for supporting the Loan Center consumer and small business processes.
Duties include portfolio administration and report management support to the Loan Center Director, fulfills the adverse action process through processing of incomplete, declined and withdrawn loan packages.
Orders IRS transcripts as needed.
Responsible for consumer portfolio servicing functions to include HELOC maturities, subordinations, loss payee checks, rate resets and modifications.
Ensures each loan package complies with established standards, procedures and policies.
Represents the Bank in an efficient and courteous manner.
Areas of focus:
Portfolio Servicing:
Services existing portfolio of clients by processing, reviewing and following up on all subordination requests.
Reviews and processes all loss payee insurance check requests, interest rate resets, modifications, mortgage recasts and partial releases received in the Loan Center following established procedures.
Reviews and processes all mortgage modification requests received from Sandy Spring Mortgage division.
Reviews coming due HELOC maturities and fulfill action plans as requested by the borrower. Supports the ACH underwriting process through due diligence collection. Prepares all credit packages for imaging into the Optima system as needed
Maintenance and Servicing
Manages the Adverse Action process for incomplete, declined and withdrawn applications in accordance with federal regulations in an efficient & timely manner while maintaining department guidelines for standard turnaround times and accuracy.
Follows up with Market Relationship Manager, Branch Manager or Relationship Manager for missing financial information.
Prepares and mails adverse action and incomplete financial information letters according to established guidelines.
Orders IRS transcripts as requested by the Loan Center Underwriter or Loan Center Portfolio Manager.
Follows up with the 3

party vendor to resolve delayed responses.
Resolves discrepancies found in submissions to the IRS
Report Management:
Prepares all Loan Center weekly and monthly reports and distributes to the team and Loan Center Director.
As needed, creates new CX360 Loan Center Consumer and Small Business Department reports for executive dissemination.
Other duties as assigned
Required Skills:
Position requires a minimum of 2 years work experience in consumer or small business lending with a broad knowledge of loan processing and related compliance regulations.
Position requires a working understanding of the Loan Accounting System (FIS) and Sales Force platform. Ability to operate standard office equipment such as a keyboard, copier, facsimile machine, etc. Strong experience creating reports and using work processing and spreadsheet applications is required.
General knowledge of business organizational documents and financial statements is required.
A varied level of problem solving skills is required at this level. Situations require operational knowledge of the work and of the unit which may involve a range of possible solutions of a semi-complex nature.
Effective interpersonal skills are required to interact with a variety of contacts within the organization. Courtesy and professionalism are required at all times.
Work is under occasional supervision where independent judgment is sometimes required in the interpretation of existing policies and procedures and the guidelines are limited. Refers unusual matters to supervisor or others.
