We're looking for a self-starter who is eager to leverage his/her underwriting experience to add value to our all-star Credit Analyst team. Based in San Francisco, this role will focus on processing, evaluating, and completing financial analysis on individual loan requests and will also help with monitoring and maintaining the overall credit quality of existing Eagle loan facilities.n nWhat youu2019ll do as a Credit Analyst III:nn Support the underwriting needs for Eagle Lendingu2019s consumer products by focusing on processing, evaluating, and completing financial analysis on individual loan requests ensuring turnaround time requirements are met. Verify accuracy and completeness of loan application file.n Effectively use Moodyu2019s CreditLens or similar tool to spread tax returns and financial statements.n Cultivate strong and positive working relationships with partners to maintain extraordinary internal and external client service. Partners include: Sales, Preferred Banking, Credit Administration, Executive Loan Committee, Loan Servicing, Legal, Deposit, etc. n Serve as a subject matter expert on Eagle Lendingu2019s products, processes and systems. Provide guidance and support including mentoring to new and junior members of the team. Serve as backup when peers are on out of the office or need assistance with their pipeline of loan applications.n Lead new hire and/or refresher trainings on credit and process components. Partner with management to review and QC underwriting of new team members to ensure credit quality.n Ensure quality credit and avert any potential signs of default throughout underwriting process and loan life cycle.n Ongoing servicing of the portfolio, including loan modifications and projects with Special Assets and Credit & Risk.n Actively participate in continuous improvements by generating suggestions and participating in problem solving activities.nn nYou could be a great fit if you have:nn Two years of underwriting experience with an understanding of credit/lending or three years of experience in banking, finance or a related business field.n BA/BS required with concentration in business or finance preferred.n Experience with financial/credit analysis including reviewing financial statements, credit reports, tax returns and various income streams.n Familiarity with business financial statements and non-individual borrowing entities.n Strong decision-making, interpersonal and communication skills; including the ability to clearly understand complex concepts.n Excellent organizational and time-management skills, and attention to detail.n Self-motivated and self-disciplined, with the ability to work effectively with little supervision.nnWe believe that a diverse range of backgrounds and ideas has and will continue to be fundamental to the future success of First Republic. n nIf you are curious to learn more about this opportunity, we'd love to hear from you.n nJob Demands: nn Must be able to review and analyze data reports and manuals; must be computer proficient.n Must be able to communicate effectively via telephone and in person.nn nOwn your work and your career u2014 apply nownAre you willing to go the extra mile because you love what you do and how you can contribute as a team?
